Atta mexicana Queen Specimen

ONE DEAD Atta mexicana queen preserved in 10ml of 95% ethanol. Specimen is contained in a 1oz glass jar with airtight lid to prevent evaporation. NOT A LIVE QUEEN ANT.

Atta mexicana queens are the largest ants found in the United States, measuring at 24-26mm. They also produce the largest colonies from a single queen of any US species, reaching over 3 million workers at maximum. In the US, this species can only be found in the extreme south of Arizona.

Caution: Ethanol is toxic and flammable. Opening preservation jar is NOT recommended. Open at your own risk.
